It seeks to replace corporate-owned social media with community-driven alternatives that respect privacy, freedom of expression, and data ownership. Projects in this space aim to empower individuals and communities to connect, share, and organize without surveillance, algorithmic manipulation, or platform lock-in.

  Main Objective

  When at least 2 billion people have the majority of their online social presence established on open, interoperable social platforms, where they are in full control of their own data and identity, and no single corporation keep a majority share of the market.

• Free Creative Agency

  Free Creative Agency is about giving artists, designers, and creators full freedom to make and share their work without being locked into proprietary tools, formats, or subscriptions. This mission defends the right to create on your own terms, with tools that are open, affordable, and shaped by the needs of the creative community itself.

  Main Objective

  Commercial software should be an exception, e.g: custom-made solutions developed for very niche cases. Any professional artist should be able to do their work exclusively using tools that are provided with an Open Source License.

• Own Your Smart Home

  Our homes are the last barrier that we have to protect our privacy. The "Own Your Smart Home" mission aims to protect our spaces, keep them personal, comfortable and reliable. Big Tech has embedded surveillance, lock-in, and remote control into everyday devices, trading convenience for control. A smart home should serve the people living in it instead of the appliance manufacturers.

  Main Objective

  The mission is accomplished when at 50% of the top-selling devices in the smart home space run on open, user-controlled platforms and are not dependent on centralized services or proprietary cloud ecosystems.
